Very nice...

The sounds that come in about 33 seconds, are pretty much what I've been working on achieving for a little while; the simple drum rythem coupled with the classical feel is pretty much my favorite type of music.
But this piece gets ten because around 2:13, just about the coolest funk sounds thinkable come in, and now i'm grinning like a hyena.
But the song deviates once again at 3:20, when some sort of ultra-awesome techno-rap type sounds pump up the wow factor even more, I also like the distortion at the end.
You know, with a running time of almost six minutes, you could really split this up into three different, but equally awesome, songs. That's something I would line up to hear!
Very nice indeed.

thanks for the great review man ...that BAM funk part your talking abou i didnt even know it was going to go in a funky way till i was messing around with WA-WA guitar samples...and from there i just added a lil more funk......the end im still not happy with but im at a loss as to what to do but thank you for the ten and i hope to get more reviews from ya soon

Wow...

I'm impressed, this got my attention in a hurry!
I love how the first part is so muted, it kinda sounds like it's under a blanket.
And then the beat came in, well timed, not too repetitive . Needs expanding on imo, I never heard the first one, but there's definate;y more that could be done with this.
I think a carefully finished product could almost be on par with Envy's Heaven.
You pass mixing with an A.
Keep it up.

itsameyayo responds:

Wow, really? Thanks! I have to keep working on it though. Gah, I do need to get more creative with my sounds though. I'm not doing bad with that so far though, those drums were mine :p

-Yeah, more could be done, but I doubt I'll do it, I have another project in the mix, and I'm sure it'll be great cause it's original :)

Hey...

Something about this just hit a nerve or something, at the end of the song I was just sitting there with this huge sloppy grin on my face.
I love how un-tecnhological the whole thing is, sounds like cell phone game music.
Very original.

hehe thats how i was when i finished the song, hey thanks for the postive review!

-Crsttarocks

well...

As a song it's not great, but the idea behind it is awsome!
Very creative.
The mixing and editing is incredible.
Sweet job!

Draqo responds:

Clipping the more complex sounds was a pain though.

Thanks for the review. :D

sweet!

Had some nice sounds, but also some weird kinds of twists and turns. Works pretty well for the most part though. The end was my favorite part.
Not bad at all!
P.S. You are below me in the audio advertisement thread, think you could review some of my stuff?
Catch you later,

svere responds:

Thanks alot! I might check out some of your stuff too :)

I love the intro...

I voted five.
Though the song does get a tad repetitive,(maybe some fx needed?) I give it a ten because it departs from the norm in techno, and because the piano is awesome!
Techno isn't usually relaxing, but I found this to be very soothing.
Good job!

SinJim responds:

Thanks Pants, I appreciate your review. I do need to go back and add a couple flourishes here and there. I do hope (when making techno at least) to depart from the norm because you hear a lot of the same on here in those types of genres. While they're good, it's nice to have something different. So I really do appreciate it. Thanks again!

Hey...

You know what I've always loved in a piece just like this? Do everything pretty much like you have, then towards the end just when everything is building, just let it drop naturally. THEN kick in the drums and maybe add a guitar or some synth.
Those are just my thoughts, it's pretty good now, Just needs some building.
And yes, I did also think of vampires.
P.S. I have just uploaded again, it's pretty cool this time.

SinJim responds:

Thanks pants, that's a pretty sweet idea. I think I'd like that. You should put in some drums and make it sick. I can see it developing into a pretty big piece.

I did really need suggestions for this one as it's short and really just an intro. Let me know what you think about drums.

Thanks for the review!

Hey...

It's me, pretty sweet song!
I really like how interupted it is is, kinda shorting out with the rythem.
And the crowd background MAKES this, sounds like like a dance lovers wet dream type of concert.
Good use of piano.
Drums have that dancy feel without being overly loud or drill-y.
And just remember, I gave this one the twetieth vote!
So remember me me when you hit best of the week (again) in about half an hour.

Envy responds:

You'll be remembered!

Eat death you mothers!

Finally got around to reviewing this, and I have to say that I like it!
The mood was dark, the guitars heavy, and the drums were pounding away.
Good piece of work!

Sonofkirk responds:

Thanks a lot for the great review bro !

You kick ass !

Hum...

Kinda sounds like banshees to me, like a surreal wailing toned down.
Nice mix of sounds!
Though the drums keep a good rythem, the sound isn't quite right; maybe bongos or something would be more suited.
Good job!

nightsurfermusic responds:

that's a good idea. If i find the file, i certainly can add a very reverb/bongo feel to the drums. Thanks for the advice :)
